I’ve been getting a lot of letters about Mercy Watson recently.
Last week, an eight-year old named Dylan wrote and told me that he had read “all the Mercy Watson books and all the Deckawoo Drive books and also the new one about Mercy as a piglet.”
He closed the letter by saying, “I have one word to say to you about that pig: MORE.”
Oh, Dylan, you’re singing the song of my heart.
And the song of Mercy’s heart, too.
