Yesterday, I was in the woods behind the Kentucky Star Motel and I came upon Christian Convery, the actor who is playing Rob Horton in the movie of The Tiger Rising.
It’s an amazing thing—to tell a story that becomes a book.
It’s astonishing, too, when people read the book and tell you that it matters to them.
And it’s amazing and astonishing and unbelievable to watch the characters of a book come to life in a movie.
What an honor it was to be on the set of The Tiger Rising in Thomasville, Georgia—to watch the cast and crew work so hard to bring Rob and Sistine’s story to life.
Something magical is happening in those woods.
I’m grateful I got to see some of that magic.
