What a gift it was to have visited Nashville’s Parnassus Books over the weekend.
I hugged a shop dog (the beautiful Marlee).
I signed books.
I talked with booksellers and fellow readers.
I didn’t ever want to leave.
So here is a public service announcement: if you are in need of comfort, of light and warmth and connection, you can find it at your local, independent bookstore.
