I’ve been traveling for a good portion of this year, but I am finally home.
And now I am settling into a journey of a different sort—a novel writing journey.
I keep reminding myself of E.L. Doctorow’s words about writing, that it is like driving at night.
Doctorow said, “You can only see as far as your headlights, but you can make the whole trip that way.”
I can only see a little. But that little bit I can see is enough.
I will keep driving.
